For Your Safety

  • Watch For Symptoms:
    • People with COVID-19 have a wide range of symptoms reported- ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness including:
      • Fever
      • Muscle pain
      • Cough
      • Headache
      • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
      • Sore throat
      • Chills
      • New loss of taste or smell


    • These symptoms may occur 2-14 days after exposure to the virus
    • Please notify your surgeon if you develop any of these symptoms


  • Bring only one visitor with you to the surgery center who will be your designated driver home.


  • You and your visitor are encouraged to wear your own cloth face covering/mask upon arrival to the facility.


  • A Pre-Admission nurse will be conducting a phone interview screening with you prior to day of surgery including travel screening and signs/symptoms of respiratory illness.


  • A temperature check and respiratory screening will be conducting prior to *anyone entering St. Thomas Surgicare. (* Employees, Physicians, Vendors, Patients, Visitors).

  • You will notice our team members will be wearing masks throughout your visit, throughout the center


  • All reading material and communal items have been removed from lobby


  • Visual alerts on hand hygiene and cough etiquette instructions have been placed at entrance


  • Supplies such as alcohol based hand sanitizers, tissues and trash receptacles are readily available


  • 6 foot chair placing in lobby to ensure social distancing


  • After patient leaves increased cleaning of frequently touched surfaces with EPA-registered disinfectants
